Meet the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to make Newton Youth Baseball a rewarding experience for all players, coaches, and families.

Our Leadership Team

Melissa Dalton President Provides overall leadership and direction for the organization, presides at all meetings, and represents NYB in the community.
Mindi Noel Vice President Oversees league operations and works closely other directors to maintain program quality.
Tim Bloom Treasurer Manages the league's finances and ensures resources are allocated to benefit all players.
Alyssa Angle McGinnis Secretary Maintains league records and coordinates communication between board members and families.
Dustin Brisel Director of Coaches
 Recruits, trains, and supports coaches while ensuring consistent teaching of fundamentals and sportsmanship.
Erin Hume Assistant Coaching
Director
 Assists the Director of Coaches with duties as assigned.
Braydon Chance Director of UmpiresCoordinates umpire recruitment, training, and scheduling to ensure quality officiating for all games.
James Reeder Director of Registration
/Player Agent		 Oversees player registration, team formation, and helps resolve any player-related issues.
Jason Price Assistant Player Agent
/Scheduler
 Assists the Player Agent in duties as assigned and manages all schedules for each division.
James Jensen Safety Officer Ensures all safety protocols are followed and coordinates background checks for volunteers.

 Manages all fields and league equipment, ensures proper maintenance, and distributes gear to fields.
Jayne Chaney Director of Fundraising
& Scholarships		 Organizes fundraising events, secures sponsorships, and manages scholarship programs to support league operations.
James Jensen Director of
Public Relations
 Manages communication with families, coordinates promotional activities, and enhances community engagement.

Newton Youth Baseball is committed to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment where young athletes can learn the fundamentals of baseball, develop sportsmanship, and build character. Our board works diligently to ensure our programs reflect these values and serve the needs of our community.

We believe in the power of sports to teach life lessons, foster friendships, and create lasting memories for players and families alike.

Board Meetings

The NYB Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss league operations, plan events, and address any concerns. Meetings are open to all interested parents and community members.
